The Tecno Pova 3 kicks off the 2022 generation of the Tecno Pova Series, which is recognized for its long battery life. It is the Tecno Pova 2’s direct replacement. This Tecno Phone appears to have substantially the same specifications as its predecessor, but with significant hardware and software enhancements.
The Tecno Pova 3 has the same 7000 mAh battery as the Tecno Pova 2, but with a larger charge capacity for faster battery charging. Additionally, this Android phone has a 10W reverse charging capability that turns it into a respectable power bank for charging other electronics like wireless earphones or a smartwatch.
The front of the Tecno Pova 3 is covered in glass and has a plastic frame and back. The three rear cameras are arranged vertically, with each camera resting on a separate hump. If you look closely, this phone somewhat resembles its predecessor.

The Tecno Pova 3 comes with a 50 MP triple camera on the back. A 50MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) is included, as well two additional cameras with unspecified specifications. The camera can record video in 1440p at 30 frames per second. At the front, we got a single 8-megapixel camera capable of recording films at 1080p @ 30fps. The rear camera has a quad-LED flash, whereas the front camera only has a dual-LED flash.
MediaTek’s Octa-core Helio G88 chipset powers the Tecno Pova 3. Compared to the G85 offered for the Pova2, this is not much of an improvement in performance. A dual-core Cortex A75 running at 2.0GHz and a hexa-core Cortex A55 running at 1.8GHz are both found in the chipset’s dual cluster architecture. A Mali-G52 MC2 GPU is responsible for graphics.
A 4GB RAM model with 64GB of built-in storage and a 6GB RAM model with 128GB of built-in storage are available on this Tecno phone. Dedicated space is also provided for you to increase the storage capacity. Memory Fusion, a feature first seen in the Tecno Spark 8C, is present in the Pova 3. Both the 4GB and 6GB models can add up to 3GB and 5GB of additional RAM capacity, respectively.
The Tecno Pova 3 has a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, low energy Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port (USB 2.0) with OTG support. The operating system (OS) is Android 11 (HiOS), and face and fingerprint biometric authentication are both supported.
